Mary Opal Albertson, age 71, of Wanatah formerly of Kouts, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Porter Hospital.
She was born September 27, 1935 in Royal Center, IN. the daughter of Noble Franklin and Georgia (Pufahl) Beck and attended Kouts High School.
On November 6, 1965 she married Ivan Albertson who survives along with their three children: Patti (Lynn) Holst of Hebron, Sharon (Ed) Tucker of Portage, Terry Albertson of Valparaiso; three sisters: Clara Cooper of Oklahoma, Irene Claussen of Kouts, Betty Reinke of LaPorte; one brother Bill Beck of Valparaiso; numerous half brothers and sisters; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Fern and Cordellin.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at Kosanke Funeral Home, Kouts, Pastor Robert Hauter officiating with burial to follow at Lucerne Cemetery.
