A World War I veteran,he served in the U.S.Army Machine Gun Company of the 16th Infantry,1st Division and was involved in the drive of the Argonne;spending 10 months in France,part of the Army of Occupation.
He suffered a stroke of paralysis and died at the Adrian Hospital at the age of 50 years.He was an employee of Hoffman Brothers Drilling Company. Mr.Weber was a member of the Methodist Church and was married 30 April 1930 to Magdalena Pearl Mogle,who survives.
He is also survived by his mother,Mrs.William Souders,of Indiana,Pa.;
And the following brothers and sisters:
Leonard L.Weber of Aliquippa;
J.Fred Weber of Sportsburg;
Mrs.Ida Braughler of Zelienople;
Mrs.Olive Huntley of Indiana;
Margaret Humm and Mrs.Winnie Barnett,
both of Punxsutawney.
Burial will be in the American Legion Plot
in Circle Hill Cemetery.
