Was dead on arrival Sunday afternoon at St. Lukes Hospital, from injuries received in an automobile accident in the Motlow Creek Community. Survivors included daughter; Mrs. Robert Barnwell, son; Charles Atkins, and seven grandchildren. He was 73 years of age at his death.
