Oldest son of William Thomas "Buck" Lawrence and Sarah Amanda "Nettie" Jeffery Lawrence.

Moved to Muskogee County, OK area in the early 1920's and persuaded his father and mother to move there in 1929. Shortly after that the stock market fell and the Great Depression and Oklahoma Dust Bowl began.

First wife was Iva Collins whom he married on 9/27/1925 in Muskogee County, OK. Two daughters were born to this union, Dorothy Jean Lawrence and Mary Jo Lawrence. The marriage ended in divorce.

2nd wife was Francis Kirkpatrick Bolding Lawrence b. 4/19/1918 d. 6/3/2001. This marriage also ended in divorce.

3rd wife was Emma L. Thompson Lawrence, b.11/2/1912 d. 10/5/2006 and buried at Green Hill Cemetery, Muskogee. They married in Muskogee on December 1, 1979. Pat was still married happily to her at the time of his death.

OBIT - "Albert J. "Pat" Lawrence, 77, of 5207 Denison Ave., died Tuesday in Muskogee General Hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in (the) First Baptist Chapel.
Dr. Bob Woods, pastor of First Baptist Church in Muskogee, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery under the direction of Lescher Funeral Home.
Lawrence was born April 15, 1904, in Melbourne, Ark. He lived in Muskogee County for more than 50 years. Lawrence married Emma Carroll on December 1, 1979, in Muskogee.
He was a member of the Men's Bible Class at First Baptist in Muskogee and served as a volunteer in the Men's Auxiliary at Muskogee General Hospital.
Surviving relatives are his wife of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Moore of Nowata and Mrs. Mary Jo Turner of Springfield, Mo.; two stepsons, LeRoy Brown of Muskogee and Burton Thompson of Wagoner; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Betty Wright of Muskogee, Mrs. Kenneth L. Moore of Tulsa and Mrs. Jack Roach of Las Vegas, Nev.; four brothers, Claude, Harlin and Harry, all of Stockton, Calif., and Glen(n) of Owasso; and six grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Ludwig, Albert Cohea, Ed Gill, Jess Musgraves, Spiegel Bond and Paul Seymour."
