She died from Influenza & Pneumonia at 4 a.m. on Feb. 1, 1920. She had lived 35 years, 4 months, & 3 days.
The next day, at 6:30 p.m., her son, Clarence Madden, who was one year, 10 months, & three days old, died from Lobar Pneumonia. Dr. L.E. Toney, of Piedmont, was their doctor.
