Michael Glenn Abel, a production videographer for Louisiana Public Television and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at Jo Ellen Smith Hospital.

He was a former resident of Chauvin and was a graduate of Terrebonne High School, Houma, and WKG-TV Video Electronic College.

He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1971 in Vietnam.

Survivors include wife, Priscilla Holloway "Pris" Abel; father, John Henry Abel; mother, Iva May Nugent Abel; daughter, Abbea Gail Abel; son, Michael Glenn Abel II; two sisters, Debra Watson and Sherry Isakson; brother, Jeffery Abel; and grandmother, Maud Taylor Nugent.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Eugene Nugent and Travis G. Jenkins; and grandmother, Billie L. Holloway.

Services at Allison Funeral Home, Liberty with Interment in Guidry Cemetery, Batson, Texas.
