Lois Eileen Anderson, 84, of Oak Ridge, died peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 21, 2006.
She was born December 8, 1921 in Farmington, Missouri, the daughter of Basil and Goldie Thomas.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of First Christian Church. Before her health began to decline, she enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Chester R. "Andy" Anderson; brothers, Earl Thomas, Wendell Thomas and sister, Ruth Stacy.
She is survived by:
2 Sons, Ronnie Anderson and wife Toni and
Larry Anderson and wife Sheree, all of Oak Ridge;
3 Daughters, Goldie Kennedy and Connie Smith, both of Oak Ridge and
Debi Welch and husband Ken of Clinton;
2 Brothers, Glenn Thomas and wife Doris of Farmington, MO and
Donald Thomas and wife Anita of St. Louis, MO;
7 Grandchildren, Tracy McGhee and husband David of Claxton,
Lisa Kennedy and Scott Mayes of Oak Ridge;

Funeral services are Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 8:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary with Rev. Jesse Bradshaw officiating. Graveside services are Friday at 10:00am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8:00pm at Weatherford Mortuary.
