Dallas David Brewer

Dallas D. Brewer, 78, of 1017 1/2 Lincoln Way W., died at 3:40 a.m. today in Memorial Hospital after a three-week illness. He had been a resident of South Bend 52 years, coming from Pontiac, Mich. He was born Nov. 11, 1893, in Schwartz Creek, Mich. He married Ethel Sherwood Dec. 23, 1915 in Pontiac. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Charles S. of Fullerton, Calif.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Catherine McPhaial and Mrs. Mabel Folsom, both of Pontiac. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home. Services will be held Tuesday at the Sparks Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac, and the burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery there. Mr. Brewer was a retired employee of the Studebaker Corp.
