LAWRENCE, Kan. - Margaret Olive McIntyre, 80, Lawrence, formerly of Lancaster, Kan., died Dec. 25, 2008.
She married the late Virgil Robert McIntyre on Dec. 24, 1953.
Survivors: children Robert (Michelle) , Eileen (Doug) Young, Cheryl (Alan) Williams, Marietta (Keith) Taliaferro, Carmiletta (Dave) Penny; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister Violet Garnett.
Service: 2 p.m. Monday, Lancaster United Methodist Church. Burial: Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Becker�Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, Atchison, Kan.

She was born on Oct. 25, 1928, in Troy, KS. She was the daughter of Earl and Olive Pearl (Brenner) Barnthson.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brother; Bill and Raymond Barnthson, and one grandson, Chris Taliferro.

and Olive Pearl Barnthson. They are buried in Sunset Memory Gardens,Atchison,Ks. She also had 2 brothers, Raymond Russell Barnthson, and William E. Barnthson, both buried in Horton Cemetery.
