Willie Mae NeSmith Carter, was one of 9 siblings born to the late William and Missouri NeSmith. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Quincy Suber, whom she had three children. She later married John I. Sheffield and they had one child. When their marriage ended, she later married Lloyd Carter, who preceded her in death after 42 years of marriage. She was a homemaker and an excellent cook. She generously loved to cook for her family and friends. They would often drop by for a delicious glass of tea or a cup of coffee, large slice of homemade cake and a wonderful chat with her.

Family and friends have gathered together the last three years to celebrate her birthday in a very special way. She was a beautiful and very special lady and will be missed by all here on earth but Heaven and family already there are rejoicing. Recently, she has been talking about wanting to see all of her loved ones who are waiting for her in Heaven. ALL IS WELL. We will see you again one day. Praise God.

Survivors include her children, Helen, Calvin and Linda; grandchildren, Timothy, Cynthia, Tonya, Lisa, Tracy, Kenny; great-grandchildren, Dana, Rebecca, Ashley, Ashton, Laura, Logan, Laurelee, Calynne, Ashlynne, Chelsey, Terry and Ivy; sister, Clara Bell; brother, Howard; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Sonny Boy Suber.
