He was born August 10, 1924 in Hardin County to Elmer and Sarah (Manley) VanBuskirk.
Mr. VanBuskirk was a retired mechanic. He had worked at the Chevrolet garage in Kenton and worked in Warren for more than 20 years. He moved back to Kenton eight years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Louella Stitle of Warren and Mrs. Don (Diane) Paul of Kenton; three sons, Wayman L. "Butch" VanBuskirk of Crestline, Joe J. Reissig of Wapakoneta, and Larry R. Reissig of Dunkirk; a sister, Ruby Hale of Kenton; and 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Five brothers and four sisters are deceased.
Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Kenton.
