Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Priester Funeral Home, Bloomfield. Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield.
The former Bessie B. Spouse was born March 22, 1901, in Lee County. She married John Clark Hufford Oct. 30, 1917, in Farmington, Iowa. He died in 1974.

Survivors include daughters, Lavonne Gray, Downey, Mo., Wynona Selix and Mary Lou Kerby, both of Bloomfield, Willa Mae Howell and Kay Melvin, both of Ottumwa, Iowa, JoAnn Hepker, Kirksville, Mo., and Betty Francis, Davenport; 21 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
