Deceased Name: Jesse B. Forquer
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 28, 1999, in St. Helens Elks Lodge for Jesse B. Forquer, who died May 22 at age 86.

Mr. Forquer was born Jan. 6, 1913, in Carrington, N.D. He moved to California in 1929 and to Forest Grove in 1934. He was a mill worker for Pope & Talbot and Crown Zellerbach until his retirement in 1975. In 1934, he married Ava Marie Hudson; she died in 1998.

Survivors include his daughters, Ava May Warner of St. Helens, Mary Alice Nein and Janet Williamson, both of Scappoose, and Gloria Stokes of Milwaukie; sons, Harry of Homer, Alaska, and Dan of Milwaukie; sister, Evelyn Haskew of Cornelius; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Private interment will be in Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery in St. Helens.
