Born to Oliver Enix Scott and Anna Louise Putzier in Alma, WI. Married Christina Matilda Moore (aka: Mildred and later, Mildred Seifarth) in June 26th, 1918. John Allen, (the first of three John Allen Scotts) had two sons with Mildred; John Allen Scott, II (Jr) born in Nov 5, 1918 and Donald Everett Scott born in November 12th, 1923. John Allen worked the majority of his life as a "fireman" for the Railroad industry. In 1930, at the start of the Great Depression, John Allen left his family to reside in Wyoming. In 1935, John Allen moves in with his sister Armeta Alvina Scott in Tacoma, Washington. He eventually relocated to Olympia, Washington to be trained as a brewer with Columbia Brewing Company and remained in their employment as a Brewer through 1942. John Allen Scott reconciles with his younger son Donald Everett Scott sometime around 1943-44. John Allen eventually returns to the Rails as a Fireman by 1954. He marries his second wife, Zella Criswell and has daughter. John Allen Scott passes from a heart occlusion in 1957 residing in Tacoma, Washington at the time.
