Bruce Wayne Stafford, 57, of New Port Richey, Florida passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009 in New Port Richey, Florida. He was born on June 9, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Leroy H. Stafford and Willie Maye Sims Stafford. He was raised in Fort Worth and later in 1976 moved to Florida where he lived the rest of his life. Bruce joined the United States Army National Guard and served from September 4, 1974 to October 29, 1975. He loved to sing and play his guitar, watching the Dallas cowboys, shoot pool, dancing and cooking.

He is survived by: Mother: Willie M. Haynes, Cleburne, Texas; Sons: Michael W. Stafford, Azle, Texas, Douglas G. Stafford, Florida; Daughter: Michelle L. Carr, Azle, Texas; 5 grandchildren: Bridget N. Stafford, Kingston, Oklahoma, Rachel A. Stafford, Ft. Worth, Texas, Miranda K. Carr, Azle, Texas, Matthew L. Carr, Azle, Texas; 1 Great grandchildren: Natalee N. Cobb, Kingston, Oklahoma; Brothers: Michael C. Stafford, Florida, Jimmy V. Stafford, Florida, Douglas G.
