August Kramer Died Monday
Follows His Wife Who Passed Away About Two Weeks Ago
Was a Pioneer Here
Rites were conducted from the Evangelical Church Wednesday afternoon. August Kramer,85, a pioneer of this community northwest of Crofton since 1894, died early Monday morning following a lingering illness. His wife preceeded him in death two weeks ago. She passed away on March 26.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Evangeical Church northwest of Crofton, Ne, with the Rev. Guy Savage officiating. Internment was made next to his late wife in the parish cemetery.
The Krammer family came to this country in 1894 and settled in the present farm home about 12 miles northwest of Crofton, Ne. The couple were privleged to celebrate their golden wedding anniversery in 1931.
Mr.Kramer is survived by 2 sons Willaim of Crofton, and August of Merrill, Iowa and 6 daughters, Emila Wahl of Austin, Washington, Minnie Gabelien of Clinton, Washington, Julia Huschke of Baker,Oregon, Laura Seiferth of Langley, Washington, Tillie Kollars and Frieda Kollars both of Crofton.
