Leone McNeely, 91, of Flora, formerly of Louisville, died at 1:46 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at Clay County Hospital, Flora.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville, with the Rev. Dan McKinney officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Neal Funeral Home, Louisville. Burial will be in Orchard Hill cemetery, Louisville. Memorials may be made to Louisville Christian Church.
Mrs. McNeely was born May 3, 1918, in Clay County, the daughter of Albert and Myrtle (Wiseman) Rinehart. She married Robert Preston Jr. McNeely March 15, 1939 in St. Louis, Mo., and he preceded her in death Jan. 19, 1989.
She is survived by sons, John R. (wife, Peggy) McNeely of Abingdon, Gerald L. McNeely and Richard C. McNeely, both of Effingham; daughter, Linda (husband, David) Thompson of Flora; sister, Marjorie Bailey of Louisville; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; brothers, Leon and Delbert Rinehart; and sisters, Juanita Wolfe and Ruby Wolfe.
