Mrs Thos A Bowling died at her home in Avis this morning after a lingering illness of tuberculosis, aged 44 years.
Mrs Bowling was a good woman, winning and retaining the respect of hr neighbors and many friends. Prior to her marriage to Mr Bowling, she was Miss Maggie Lilly, daughter of Mr R W Lilly, of Lilly post office. She is survived by her husband and four children. Also by two sisters, as follows: Mrs W E Meadows and Mrs Albert Pack.
Funeral services from the home at 9:30 o'clock in the morning by Rev Carter, after which the remains will be conveyed to Jumping Branch for burial.
