MRS. SUSANNAH AVINGER
Wife of
LAWRENCE AVINGER ESG.
Was born in So. Ca. August 8th, 1780
And died December 20th, 1856
In the 77th year of her age.
She embraced ????? and joined the
M.E.Church in 1851 and continued an acceptable
and pious member to the day of her death.
She was an affectionate and dutiful wife,
A kind Mother, a lenient Mistress,
And an obliging Neighbour.
In her last illness she spoke calmly
of death and would often say,
"I am resigned, Let the will of the Lord be done"
