— Mary Ann Oberman Agostino of 2948 Frampton Road, Hermitage, died at 10:20 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell, after a lengthy illness. She was 74.

Mrs. Agostino was born July 3, 1935, on the Oberman family farm in Hermitage to George and Mary Dorchak Oberman.

An alumna of Hickory High School, class of 1953, in Hermitage, she attended Youngstown State University.
Mary Ann was employed at the former Franek & Co., Farrell.

As a very active member of Church of the Good Shepherd, West Middlesex, she helped with the catering group, served as an usher and was a member of the church prayer chain.
She loved to garden.

Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother and friend, who helped with any sick or invalid family members and friends.
She and her husband, Floyd A. Agostino, were married June 14, 1958, in the former St. Ann Church, Farrell, by the Rev. John S. Cizmar, who is now deceased. Floyd survives at home.

Also surviving are: two daughters, Michelle Barbir, wife of Ljubomir; and Gina Lancia, wife of Michael; and a sister, Fran Rummel, all Hermitage; and two grandchildren, Michael and Alena Lancia.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Evans; and two brothers, George M. and Richard J. Oberman.

Burial: St. Ann's Cemetery, Hermitage.
