LEOMINSTER - Beatrice M. (Howard) Hume, 79, of 44 Keystone Drive died yesterday in the Keystone Nursing Home.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Leominster Senior Citizens.
She leaves a daughter, Florence M. Schwarzel of Fitchburg; three brothers, Hazen S. Howard, Herman W. Howard and Herbert E. Howard, all of Leominster; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Her husband, James M. Hume, died several years ago.
She was born in Leominster, daughter of Frank and Maude (Bullard) Howard, and was a lifelong resident.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the United Methodist Church, 77 Hall St. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
