Voyt was in the Spanish American War and WW1 where he was wounded.Grew livestock for 50 years lastly in Sunnyslope, Ca.He had two daughters , Vada Lorraine and Verra June Miller with wife Marguerite Demarest. Voyt met her in WW1 in France where she worked in a bakery. He received the Purple Heart for valor and he was gassed and sent home. Had lifelong health issues because of it.
At time of his death he was married to Lillian Irene Palmer and lived at 7089 38th St in Sunnyslope Ca. ( Riverside Co).They are buried next to each other. He was a beloved member of the family ! Attesting to that fact a sister and a nephew gave their sons Voyt as their middle names.His wife "Irene " was a wonderful happy lady with a great laugh I remember still.
