Elsie L. Doke, 62, Springfield, died Sunday in Lutheran Hospital, Houston, Texas, after a long illness.
Mrs. Doke worked at Dillard's Department Store for several years and was a member of Highstreet Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Terry, Republic and Kelly, Springfield; a brother, Robert Woods, Willard; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Herman Lohmeyer Chapel, 500 E. Walnut, with Rev. Earl Smith, officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery, near Willard.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America.
