Mrs. Jessie E. Rose, widow of Charles S. Rose, died Saturday morning in Nashville, Tenn. Mrs. Rose formerly made her home in Wabash leaving here in 1929. Since then she has lived with two sons, Kenneth Rose of Nashville and Charles Rose of Kokomo.
She was born in Wabash on Aug. 14, 1862, to Daniel and Catherine Markley. She was married to Charles S. Rose whose death occurred in September, 1918. Three sons were born to this union, Harold deceased, Kenneth of Nashville and Charles of Kokomo. Other survivors include three grandchildren.
Mrs. Rose was a lifelong member of the First Methodist church.
The body will be brought to Wabash and friends may call at the Jones Funeral home Tuesday. Services will be conducted from the Jones Funeral home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Dr. O.T. Martin officiating. Burial will be in Falls cemetery.
