Robert E. Douglas, 88, of Simi Valley, dedicated husband, father, provider and patriot, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
Robert was born January 30, 1921 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry for thirty years.
Robert is survived by his wife, Grace Douglas; daughter, Gloria Falardeau; son, Barry (Vonnie) Douglas; grandchildren, Sarah and Robert Douglas, all of Simi Valley; sisters, Betty Hitz of Brooklyn, New York and Carolyn Cavosie of Hurley, Wisconsin.
A visitation and viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 3, 2009, with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel at Reardon Funeral Home, Simi Valley, with Pastor Murry Whiteman officiating.
Interment will follow in Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 South Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA.
