Bernice M. Adams, 84, formally of 19 Chesnut St., Massena, died August 14. She lived many years in Massena before moving to Fairmount several years ago. She retired in 1971 as a teacher after 21 years with the Massena School System. Mrs. Adams is survived by three daughters, Mary Rugelis, whom she resided with in Fairmount, Margaret Dietz of Canandaiqua and Catherine Ralph of Lowville; a son, Jon Adams of Orlando, Florida; 11 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were private with burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Navarino. Norris Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus handled arrangements.
