Chester Nagle, 81, died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2001, at Iuka Hospital. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the VFW. He was a retired power construction worker with Tennessee Valley Authority and was a Baptist.

Services were at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Nichelson, Bro. Greg Philamlee and Bro. J. B. Bums officiating. Burial was in Bishop Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Emogene Bishop Nagle of Iuka; one daughter, Hope Nagle White of Oklahoma City; One sister, Lora Nagle of Burnsville; three grandchildren, Jimmy Strong of Richland, Wash., Beth and Kenny White, of Oklahoma City.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Delight Nagle Strong.

Pallbearers were Thomas Bonds, Tommy Bonds, Jerry Bonds, Tony Bishop, Joe Rutherford, Berlon White, Mason Sally, George Lambert, Michael Reed.

Honorary pallbearers were Rosco Shultz, Milam Skinner, Bobby Skinner and Clay Whitfield.
