Mr. Hodges was know by friends and family as Fred, he was a farmer, early years operating a tomatoe canning factory. He later had a apple orchard, several milk cows, work horses, pigs and chickens. He also had a black-smith shop, he was known by many as an excelent black-smith, doing work for local farmers.Fred loved his family and worked hard thru some very difficult times to provide for his family.
