She was the daughter of Christopher Robert Grubb, born June 29, 1861 and Martha Ann Naff Grubb born July 6, 1866.
Ella and Fred were married at the Jacob P Naff home place on Wades Gap rd.
Ella went to be with the Lord,April 10, 1993, 104 & 7m0. old.
She was preceded in death by her husban Frederick(Fred)W Hodges.
Sons Herbert Johnson Hodges,Ernest Frederick Hodges.
She was survived by Daughters, Mildred Hodges Slocum and husban John Milton Slocum. Ada Hodges Holt and husban Rufus V. Holt. Sarah Hodges Nichols and husban Linford H. Nichols. Martha Hodges Stilwell and Husban Manuel T. Stilwell.
Surviving sons, Wilbur R. Hodges, Wilford W. Hodges and wife Evelyn Wray Hodges,
Luther M. Hodges and wife Margaret Hatcher Hodges. Henry D Hodges and wife Laura Coyle Hodges.
Mrs Ella Hodges attended Monte Vista Brethren Church.
The first church was Black Water Chapel built about 1920.
She was Baptized in Black Water Creek, Sept. 3, 1922.
She loved The Lord and all of her children.
