BETHPAGE, Tenn. -- Yank C. Carter, 86, of Bethpage, a retired farmer, died yesterday at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Alexander Funeral Home, Gallatin. Burial will be in Bethpage Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lizzie Shrum Carter; a son, Erskine H. Carter, Sr., Kokomo, Ind.; a half-brother, Bill Carter, Bethpage; a half-sister, Mrs. Laura Presley, Adolphus, Ky.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
