Culler Jr., age 6 months, both born in South Carolina.

Culler, a general farmer, age 50 born in South Carolina, and his wife, Wardlaw D. Culler, age 40 born in South Carolina, and their children listed were; Woodward Culler, age 12, and Edgar L. Culler Jr., age 10, and Oscar Culler, age 8, all born in South Carolina. Also his sister-in-law, Marian Durham, age 50, born in South Carolina, was living with the family.

Orangeburg, South Carolina, January 15,--Edgar L. Culler, member of the state highway commission former legislator, outstanding farmer, and popular member of one of Orangeburg county's large and influential families, died at the Tri County Hospital here this morning at 10:30 o'clock. He was 69 years old, and lived in the Limestone section of this county. Mr. Culler had been ill for three months, during a part of which time he received treatment in Baltimore.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 5 o'clock from Limestone Methodist Church by the pastor, The Rev. J. F. M. Hoffmeyer, assisted by the Rev. J. Elwood Welsh, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Orangeburg. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Culler has been a member of the state highway commission the past nine years. He served on the Orangeburg county highway commission for seven years and served in the South Carolina house of representatives, having been elected in 1902. In 1887 he was graduated from Wofford College, and afterwards taught in the Limestone School. In 1928 Mr. Culler was selected as one of this states master farmers. He was a director of the Orangeburg Production Credit association, a trustee of Limestone Methodist Church, and a member of the Orangeburg Rotary Club.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Wardlaw Durham Culler, of Orangeburg; three sons, Woodward Durham Culler, Edgar L. Culler Jr. and Dr. Oscar Z. Culler; and one grandson, Woodward Culler, Jr.
