Lordsburg Liberal January 16, 1976:

Alta Brecheisen, 51, resident of Bosque Farm s for the last three
years and formerly of Lordsburg, passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 4, in a Belen hospital after an illness.

She is survived by her husband, Glen Brecheisen, of Bosque Farms; one son, Leroy Estes of Albuquerque; two daughters, Leona Bullock and Penny Woolman, both of Kellog, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Tom McLendon and Wayne Carstens, both of Tuscon; three sisters, Faye Moore of Lordsburg, Irene Delmont from Long Island, Kansas, and Geraldine Carstensof Tucson.

Those from out-of-town attending the funeral were Sheriff and Mrs. Gene Moore of Lordsburg; Tom McLendon of Tucson; Mr and Mrs. Vern Eldege (Aunt and Uncle of Alta Brecheisen ) of Reserve, N.M.; Penny Woolman and Leona Bullock of Kellog, Idaho; and Jimmy (grandson) of
st. Micheal, Texas.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 7 in Romero Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Milford Miesner of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed at Terrace Grove Memorial Cemetery.
