Della P. Nicholson George, 94, of Hollidaysburg, formerly of Blairsville, died Jan. 1 in Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg. The daughter of Benjamin and Anzenetta Nicholson was born March 6, 1910 in Derry.
Mrs. George was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville.
Surviving are a son, Mel R. and wife Barbara, Hollidaysburg; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Albert, in 1970;
Also surviving are two stepsons, Charles and Edwin George; two brothers, William and Allen; sisters Nora Johns, Lucinda Humphrey, Hattie Richards, Elizabeth Dandoy, Bertha and Susanna Harris.
Services were held at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Blairsville, with Pastor William Wood officiating. Interment was in Blairsville Cemetery, Shoemaker Funeral Home in charge.
