Nancy Ann Kelley Alford, 80, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs Vance Cartee, Thursday morning following a long illness. Mrs Alford was a native of Sabine County and had lived in the area for the past 30 years

Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Church of Christ, of which she was a member, with Bob Franks of Beaumont, former minister of the Church, officiating. Burial will be at the Bean Cemetery in Kirbyville.

Pallbearers will be Winfred Alford, H.V. Alford, Jr, Vance Cartee Jr, R.K. Epps, Will Van Pelt, and J.O. Allbritton.

Survivors other than Mrs Cartee are another daughter, Mrs S.W. Cole of Liberty; five sons, Harvey of Buna, Marvin of Baytown, Tiney of Hull, Wiley of Silbee & V.E. Alford of Kirbyville. 12 grandchildren & 12 great great grandchildren.
