October 28 —William E. Lee, South Texas oil man and former stockholder in the Yount-Lee Oil Company, died at his home Wednesday. Lee had been prominently identified with the oil business several years and helped develop the field at Sour Lake, where he also was engaged in the banking business. He was a brother of Thomas P. Lee, oil man and Republican leader in Texas.
