Born at Lamong, Apr. 19, 1879, he was the son of John and Emily Edwards Fouch. He was married Dec. 6, 1899 to Nellie G. Moore, who died in 1956. A one-time deputy sheriff of Hamilton County, he was also a former Sheridan town marshal. Mr. Fouch had resided in Indianapolis and Pendleton for the last 35 years. A carpenter, he had been in maintenance at the State House and before retiring he had served for 18 years as a carpenter instructor at the carpenter shop at the Pendleton Reformatory. He was a member of the Pendleton Methodist Church and the Sheridan Masonic Lodge.
Three sons, Lester, Lowell and Loren Fouch, all of Indianapolis; two grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren survive.
