Floyd was a former resident of Salina Kansas, and Wichita Kansas before moving to Afton Oklahoma. He was a self-employed construction worker. Floyd had been a member of the Kansas National Guard since 1933 and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Miami, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by a son, Floyd Martin Baxter, Jr.(aka Thomas Martin Lundstrom). Survived by his wife, Doris I of the home, son Gary Joe, stepson Darrell, of Wichita KS, stepdaughters Terry L and Patricia K of California. Brothers Leo of Wichita and Leon of Salina. Sisters Helen Janicke of Chapman Kansas, Jean Albright of Salina and Bonnie Luther of New Cambria, Kansas and several grandchildren. Services at Worley Funeral Home of Grove and burial in the Afton Memorial Park.
