Bobby Joe was the second child of Verna and Claude Price. He and his brother developed pneumonia in November of 1955. Two-year old Perry survived, but baby Bobby Joe died on Thanksgiving Day 1955.

He is survived by his big brother, Perry; his sister-in-law, Cheryl; his nephew, Kristopher; his great-nephew, Kurt; and his great-nieces, Kaylee and Eliana.
