Francis "Frank" William Wagner was born 25 May 1867 in Ohio; one of eleven children born to Samuel Frederick and Mary Anna (Wurtz) Wagner.

Frank was united in marriage 28 Feb 1899 in Linn County, Missouri with Nancy Leola Donley; the second of twelve children born to Henry Clay and Frances Elizabeth (Taylor) Donley. They made their home in Sampsel Twp., Livingston County, Missouri.

Nancy and Frank were the parents of eight children:

1. Infant daughter (1899-1899)
2. Mary Frances born 1900 married Joel Neal Grubb
3. Claude Pearl born 1902 married Ruth E. Akers
4. Fred Franklin born 1904 married Ennis May Akers
5. Walter Cecil (1906-1906)

Frank, a farmer, passed away 29 May 1930 at home in Sampsel at the age of 63 years. He was laid to rest in Mount Olive Cemetery, Sampsel, Livingston, Missouri.

Nancy passed away 15 April 1939 in Sampsel at the age of 68 years. She was laid to rest in Mount Olive Cemetery with her husband.
