Will Strickland of Ozark, died Wednesday, December 9, 2009, at Dale Medical Center following an extended illness. He was 44. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, 2009, at the chapel of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home with Rev. Terriel Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in Asbury Cemetery under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, December 10, from 5-7 p.m.; at other times the family will be at the home of Donald and Linda Strickland, 264 Co. Rd. 573, Ozark. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the William Ray Strickland Memorial Fund, Commercial Bank of Ozark, P.O. Box 1029, Ozark, AL 36361. Survivors include his parents: Lawrence and Gladys Jeanette Strickland of Ozark; five sisters and brothers-in-law: Wanda & Larry Whaley, Shirley and Dorsey Tadlock, Carolyn & Gary Vance, Charlotte & Bob Mitchell, Janan & Larry Doster; one brother, Leon Strickland; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
