Nancy was born in 1799 (she was 51 in the 1850 census) in Maryland to Thomas Hayes, 1762-1847, and Rebecca Padgett, abt 1762-1847.

Her 1st marriage was to Peter John LONGNECKER (1795 to after 1823) in about 1816 in Bourbon County, KY. They had 5 children:
Peter Thornton, 1817-1881
George, 1820-1860
Thomas Jefferson, 1822-1901
John N., 1824-1904
Andrew Jacob, 1824-1860?

Nancy's 2nd husband was John Casper "Gasper" POTTERF. They were married 6 Aug 1832 in Preble Co. OH. He was a Revolutionary War veteran and about 40 years older than Nancy! They had three children:
Gasper T., 1833-1898
Squire James, 1834-1904
Nancy Jane, 1836-1890 (she married John H. Butler)

After Gasper died in 1836, Nancy married a 3rd time to William ARRASMITH on 1 Dec 1850 in Preble Co. OH. They had no children.

From Contributor: Kelly Carter (49675739): Nancy Hayes is the third wife of my 6th-great-grandfather William Arrasmith, and in researching his family in Bourbon County, Kentucky, I may have found a record of Nancy's first marriage to Peter John Longnecker. This is taken from the Bourbon County genealogy page; I think it's transcribed from microfilm.

MARRIAGE BOND: LONGNECKER, John and Anne E. HAYSE (clearly written) of BC.
Bond Date: 22 August 1816. Bondsman: Thomas HAYSE.
CONSENT of Peter LONGNECKER given 2 August 1816 for the marriage of "my son." Attest: David LONGNECKER.
Marriage Date: 24 August 1816. 2nd BC mg register, pg 61.
Bride's name given as Ann HUGHES (clearly written).
(1810 census Peter LONGNECKER is in BC; 1820 census Peter LONGNECKER is in Preble co., Ohio; 1810 BC census has Thomas HUGHES in BC; 1820 BC census has no HUGHES but does have a Thomas HAYES): Source: https://bourboncoky.info/PeaseLP8.html

The names are slightly different but given how common alternate spellings were at the time, there's a good shot this is Nancy.
