He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Abraham who died on Dec. 12, 1997 and Doloris Abraham who died just last year on Nov. 26 along with a sister, Bonnie Cobb, who died this year
on Sept. 6.

Glenn Harry Abraham was born in Glencoe on March 28, 1945 to Harry and Doloris (Grochow) Abraham. He attended Immanuel Lutheran School in Gaylord and graduated from Gaylord High School in the class of 1963. In 1964 Glenn enlisted in the United States Air Force taking his basic training in San Antonio, Texas. Glenn spent the rest of his military time as a supply clerk at the Grand Forks Air Force Base in Grand Forks, N.D. He was honorably discharged in 1968 after obtaining the rank of Sergeant.

On Nov. 6, 1971 Glenn was united in marriage to Linda Lahr at the Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley. He moved his family to New Ulm in 1971 where he started his own drywall business known as Abraham Drywall. This he operated for 38 years before his failing health forced him into retirement.

While in business he sponsored the Abraham Softball Team and the Abraham Bowling Team. Glenn loved to fish, hunt, watch all kinds of sporting events, and coach his son Scott's hockey team. One of his favorite things to do was to spend time with his family at their lake home in Paynesville, which they enjoyed for many years.

Glenn loved life. He loved to spend quality time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and his family. He was a fighter to the end, a guy that will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. One never knows God's intended path for life and when he will take our hand in life and take us home. Glenn lived every day with a smile on his face and a positive attitude that closely touched his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Glenn was a member of the Christ the King Lutheran Church and of the Seifert-Bianchi American Legion Club in New Ulm.
