Aug 25, 1950 – Henry E. Churchill Dies at Home Sunday
Henry Edward Churchill, well known citizen of this place, died at his home Sunday afternoon, August 20. He was 55 years of age. Mr Churchill had been in failing health for the past three or four years. Mr Churchill was born in this community and spent his life here. He was a son of the late Mr and Mrs George Churchill, early residents of Calico Rock. He was married to Miss Sarah Moody March 31, 1918. He professed religion in early life and united with the Methodist Church at Spring Creek. Surviving, are his wife; two daughters, Mrs Rosie Smithson of Russell, Kansas and Mrs Georgia Guthrie of Calico Rock; two sisters, Mrs Lucy Nancy of Moorefield, Ark., and Mrs Huldie Greiner of Liberty Hill, Texas; one brother William Churchill of Wenatchee, Wash.; four grand-children and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning by Rev. J. C. Wilcox, pastor of the Mountain Home Methodist Church. Burial was in Rose Lawn Cemetery, under direction of the Roller-Barber Funeral service.
