Helen Juhl Newman of Denver, a manager, died Oct. 3. She was 77. Services were Tuesday at Olinger Wadsworth Mortuary. There was cremation.

She was born Aug. 2, 1923, in Denver.

She was a manager at Mountain Bell for 39 years before retiring. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers, Danish Sisterhood and First Baptist Church of Lakewood.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Schumacher, Santa Maria, Calif.; and a brother, Thomas C. Juhl Jr., Wheat Ridge.
