Arnold, Once Resident Here, Dies at Salina
Alva Forrest Arnold, former resident of Augusta, died Wednesday in Salina.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Letha Slette, Monrovia, Calif., Mrs. Gladys Mehalie, Leon, W.Va; Mrs. Geraldine McLaughlin, Salina; one son, Roy Arnold, Salina; four brothers, Earl and Charles, Wichita; Walter, Dearborn, Mich.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Dunsford's at 2 p.m., Saturday, with Rev. Orson Evans officiating. Interment will be made in Elmwood cemetery.
Services were also held at 2 p.m. today at the Ryan Mortuary in Salina.
