son of Christian Moak and Charity Bowers. His older sister Charity Moak Strong was born in Westmoreland Co, PA and then their older brother John W Moak was born in NY in 1798. There was a lot of close marriages in this line in both Strong and Moak. It is possible that Phillip's wife, Susanna Bowers was his first cousin. Charity's husband Charles Strong was the son of Barnabas Strong and Lydia Strong, both grandchildren of Jeddidiah Strong and Elizabeth Webster through his two sons Solomon (Lydia) and Benejah (Barnabus). Charity was reburied in the Miamitown Cemetery, moved from Foster's Burial Ground in 1859 when her husband Charles died. She had died quite young, 19 Jan 1837 and we believe it was in childbirth.
