Abraham Bachman was born in Saucon Twp., Bucks Co., PA (now Upper Saucon Twp., Lehigh Co., PA).

He was the son of Johann Georg Bachmann and Anna Maria Schnebelli.

He married Catherine Nungesser abt 1769 in Forks Twp., Northampton Co., PA, and served as Justice of the Peace in Lower Saucon Township.

Abraham was buried 28 Aug 1825.
