EAST MOLINE - Services for Mildred Kennedy, 81, of 1025 15th Ave., will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Fairman Funeral Home, Green Rock, Ill. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. today.Mrs. Kennedy died Monday at Hammond-Henry Hospital, Geneseo, Ill. Mildred Hoefflin married James R. Kennedy in 1928 in Muscatine, Iowa. He died in 1948. She worked at Quality Paint, East Moline. Before that, she was a waitress at Short Hills County Club, East Moline, and worked in the cafeteria at Pacific Airmotive, Burbank, Calif. Memorials may be made to the family. Survivors include daughters, Beverly Moorehead, Desert Hot Springs, Calif., and Bonnie Himioben, Green Rock; a son James, Fairfield, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lorraine Richards, Burbank; and a brother, Kenneth Hoefflin, East Moline.
