Lorraine Mervin Schuckers, 76, of RD 1, Brookville (Emerickville) died Wednesday, August 14, 1991 at State College Centre Community Hospital. He was a retired farmer.

Born Feb. 13, 1915 in Pinecreek Township, he was a son of Frank P. Schuckers and Amy Shobert. He was married to Martha Hinderliter; she survives.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He was Methodist by religious faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Mary Ann) Mineweaser of RD 4, Brookville, Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Ebersole of Cleona, Pa., and Mrs. Allen (Janie) Crooks of New Cumberland, Pa.; two sons, Donald SChuckers and Gary L. Schuckers, both of RD 1, Brookville; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and two brothers, Kenneth Schuckers and Joseph Schuckers of Emporium.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Robert J. Zepfel Funeral Home, Reynoldsville, with the Rev. Larry Rowe officiating. Interment was in Milliron Cemetery, Pinecreek Township.
