Mrs. Hopkins, formerly of Ascension Parish, had lived in Monte Sano for the past three years.
She is survived by four sons: J.E., H.M., AND J.B. of Baton Rouge, and U.L. of the U.S. Army; four daughters: Mrs. Joel James, Mrs. Albert Cutrer, Mrs. L.E. McIntyre and Mrs. J.C. Jamison, all of Baton Rouge; two sisters: Mrs. Alma Otts and Mrs. Ella Kelly of Galvez; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
